Took me less than 1 hour to put together :) Doesn't come with mattress, and the bottom bed doesn't seem to need slats as the bottom bed is ground level. Without a mattress at the bottom it could also be used as a play area. Twin sized and measures at 51" tall in total with the top bunk measuring 33" off the ground. . . . . .
