Brilliant pale gold with green tinges, displaying excellent clarity and viscosity that hints at the wine's textural complexity and careful oak maturation.
Aroma
The nose presents an elegant bouquet of white peach, citrus blossom, and nectarine, interwoven with subtle notes of toasted hazelnuts, vanilla, and struck flint. The restrained oak influence allows the pure fruit expression to shine whilst adding layers of complexity and sophistication.
Palate
The palate reveals remarkable tension between fruit purity and textural elements, with flavours of grapefruit, lemon curd, and white stone fruit supported by creamy oak-derived characters. The wine's structural complexity is balanced by bright acidity, whilst 10 months in French barriques contributes a silky mid-palate texture. The finish is persistent and mineral-driven, characteristic of premium cool-climate Chardonnay, with excellent length and refinement.
